The mExamples projects provide many pre-built examples of mTropolis features and development. Depending on the installation options you have selected, the following files may appear in your mExamples folder:
About mExamples — this file
mExamples Project — the mExamples project, documented in Chapter 8, "mTropolis Examples", of the mTropolis Developer Guide
mExamples Media — the media files required by the mExamples project
mExamples Title — a ready-to-run, pre-compiled title file of the mExamples project, to be run with the mTropolis Player for Macintosh
Play mExamples Title (and Resource folder) — a fat-binary mTropolis Player, and its accompanying Resource folder, used to play the "mExamples Title" file (since this player resides in the same directory as the title file, it will run the title automatically)
Experimental Modifier Examples — examples of the Group 3 experimental modifiers in action (refer to the "About Group 3 Modifiers" file, in "Experimental Modifiers:Group 3 Modifiers", for more information about these modifiers)
Experimental Modifier Media — the media files required by the Experimental Modifier Examples project
mExamples Fonts — bitmapped fonts used in the mExamples Project and Experimental Modifier Examples; drag this file onto your system folder to install the fonts
The "mExamples Project" file and "mExamples Media" folder are installed as part of the standard mTropolis v1.0 Sampler installation. To install other components, either:
• Run "Install mTropolis Sampler", select "Custom", and select the appropriate options.
or
• Copy the files directly from the mTropolis Sampler CD to your disk.
